Scope
AdSoups publishes paid search operations guides and uses Google Ads to promote our own editorial pages. The internal campaign operations tool is used by our team to manage Google Ads accounts that our organization owns under its manager account. The tool is not available for public signup, client account access, or third-party advertiser use.
Information We Access
With authorized Google Ads API access, AdSoups may access Google Ads account identifiers, account names, manager-client relationships, campaign settings, budgets, bidding settings, ad groups, keywords, ads, assets, search terms, policy and approval statuses, and performance metrics such as impressions, clicks, cost, CTR, and average CPC.
The platform may also store OAuth credentials or refresh tokens required to authenticate authorized API requests. These credentials are restricted to internal operational systems.
How We Use Information
We use Google Ads data only for internal advertising operations, guide promotion analysis, campaign creation, campaign review, keyword management, search term analysis, negative keyword updates, CPC adjustments, campaign status changes, reporting, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
We do not use Google Ads data to build public user profiles, sell data products, or provide unrelated advertising services.
Data Sharing
We do not sell Google Ads data. We do not share Google Ads data with third parties for advertising resale, public profiling, or unrelated business purposes. Data may be processed by infrastructure providers solely to operate, secure, host, or back up the internal platform, or disclosed if required by law.
Google API Services User Data Policy
AdSoups' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Data Retention and Deletion
We retain operational records only as long as needed for advertising management, reporting, audit, security, and legal requirements. Authorized users may request deletion of stored operational data by contacting us.
Account Access Revocation
Authorized Google account access can be revoked through the user's Google Account security settings. After revocation, AdSoups will no longer be able to make authorized API requests for that Google account unless access is granted again.
Security
Access to AdSoups is restricted to authorized internal users. We use access controls, least-privilege handling, credential safeguards, review workflows, and operational logging to protect credentials and advertising data.
Additional Documentation
Additional information about API usage, security, data handling, and system design is available in the API Use, Security, Data Handling, and Design Document pages.
